Susan has been trained under the humanistic umbrella of psychotherapy. Humanistic psychology focuses on each individual's potential and stresses the importance of growth and self-actualization. The fundamental belief of humanistic psychology is that people are innately good and that mental and social problems result from deviations from this natural tendency. During sessions we will lace together the story of your life, find origins of your patterns and explore your thoughts so that you may better understand who you have been, are and will be. Exploring our innermost thoughts with a neutral person is a healthy choice to better understand our motives, our pain and what brings us joy.
